No opening reception will be held as one took place on Friday, October 9, 2015

Organized by UNC Asheville Professor Virginia Derryberry and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Professor Reni Gower, selected student work was exhibited at the partnering university last fall. This exhibition showcases the student work of UNC Asheville students that was sent to Virginia Commonwealth University in Fall 2015.

In conjunction with the exhibition Professor Eva Bares' Art History students at UNC Asheville wrote a catalogue essay about the included work from both universities involved in the collaboration. This essay was included in the catalogue assembled by Professor Reni Gower at VCU (see catalogue for Simultaneity 2016 here).
