My photographs are created with the intent of allowing one woman to empower another. This body of work is a collaboration between myself acting as photographer and my subjects. As part of this collaboration, I encourage my models to decide what they feel most comfortable wearing as well as choosing the location to photograph them. Typically, boudoir shoots occur in a bedroom or in another intimate room. My images use an uncommon juxtaposition between models and nature. The perspective used throughout the series helps change the way the audience is allowed to gaze at the women shown. Elements like this help embrace the natural female form. These unique aspects of this series have turned these images into a special celebration of sisterhood and empowerment. I wanted to create photos that helped make women I know feel powerful, confident, and beautiful both inside and out.
